why do most of students ,parents and teachers don't like schools and learning?
Is the curriculum and methods of study are the cause or the reason that people are?

well .. I suppose they don't like it because the way of teaching

if the teacher like his/her subject and really want to teach student

from deeply heart .. the student will like it

and also the how they teach ? if they use any interesting methods

which let students love it and really want to learn every things

ummm .. connecting between visual and practical teaching

can also do the job better

but if the teacher enter the class with bad mood

and lazy to teach

just explaining the lesson and go out

in that case .. definitely the students wont love learning

Hello girls, congratulations for this new chat, it is very nice.
I agree with ALgaweah, when the teacher is in a bad mood, and thinking about his/her financial or personal problems in the class, the students will feel that their teacher is not in the class, he is speaking automatically maybe without
thinking. Sometimes also the teacher doesn't deal with the students equally
because he knows their parents , or any another reason , the children can feel that,**

here in U.A.E ,, books are kind of reading books not teaching

just read them and keep in your mind

no matter if you understand them or not

You are right Algaoiah . this is the problem not onl in UAE but alson in all other arabic countries such as my country Syria. However, this problem in not easy to be solved. Whenever a new education minister has his position , he starts to talk about change change change , but after two or three months nothing happens only some new rules . **

Hi Girls it is nice to have this chat,
The educational issue is sooo big topic which not only depend on the Ministry of education, the role of parents is crucial ... some times when a teacher tries to do his/her best and uses new methodology and pedagogical approach , parents do not agree because they get used to the current methodology.
I do concern so much about education and I have a strong belief that we can not develop or improve our societies unless if we develop and reform our educational system , not by copying others curriculum but by having our own characteristic .

you are totally right

we forgot about parents who don't co-operate with teachers

and don't do their job with their children on home

also the educational system which you tlked about is kind of problem

because they copy it without thinking if it fit with us or not

and keep testing it on the students until they prof if its good for them or not

the students will be confused if they still changing

the rules .. the educational system even the minister of education

whenever come a new minister, everything will be changed again

I miss you too I have submitted my dissertation

and now thinking about the PhD proposal

actually my study is about education and especially in early years

besides i am also interested on teaching English to young learners in pre-school
